A New Zealander visitor felt disturbed upon discovering a strangely deserted water park during their trip to Vietnam.

Jessie Riley went to the Wonderland Water Park in Mui Ne last week during her trip through Southeast Asia.Asia with her partner.

The couple reached an empty parking lot and understood they basically had the whole area to themselves since only a few other individuals were present as well.

“I don’t grasp it,” Ms. Riley remarked.

‘Tickets were literally 15 New Zealandcash for the entire day and there were no waiting periods for anything.

There were numerous attractions—such as inflatables and water slides—but they were completely empty.

Disturbing video footage revealed attractions entirely deserted, with large pools left unused and hundreds of sun loungers empty.

Ms. Riley is not the only visitor who has gone through this situation, as numerous others have shared that deserted water parks are a frequent sight throughout the nation.

She mentioned that one of the limited customers came up to the couple near the entrance and proposed a reduced admission price, which they agreed to.

“This woman approaches us and claims she can sell us a ticket for $5 less than the entrance fee,” she said.

I believe she purchased a family pass, and afterward, we compensated her to settle the family pass.

The video was posted on TikTok, where social media users mentioned it was a frequent occurrence — and some had been deterred by it.

“I was present, but I had a bad feeling and decided to leave,” one person said.

“I visited Vietnam for two months and can confirm that nearly all the theme parks there are similar,” another person said.

“When I was young, my parents brought my sister and me back to Vietnam to visit relatives, and we went to a water park near the road,” another person said.

When we arrived, it was entirely vacant, to the extent that I believed it was either closed or deserted.

It was only the two of us all day, and we had the whole place to ourselves.

Local Vietnamese residents explained that it is typical for water parks to be very quiet during specific times of the year.

“It’s something common here in Vietnam,” said a local.

There’s not much time off, so it’s either nobody or everybody.

“In Vietnam, we enjoy the beach – water parks are packed during holidays but less so on normal days,” another person said.

“These amusement parks are quiet since it’s not yet summer or the holidays,” a third person remarked.

It will be more packed than your country in the summer and on holidays.

The Aquatic Adventure Park holds a 4.8 star rating on Tripadvisor.

The 7-hectare location is referred to as ‘a themed water park centered on the idea of the Ocean Realm’.

Some of its highlights include Ocean Warriors, The Great Bubble Battle, The Ocean Kingdom, The Ocean Fortress, The Mysterious Ocean, The Lost River, The Typhoon Bay, The Blue Wave, and The Kraken Challenge.
