A former employee of the U.S. government had a loud argument with Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, known as the “Merchant of Death,” while appearing on The Alex Jones Show.
A caller from Kansas, named Lee, challenged Bout regarding Russia’s four-year conflict in Ukraine, asking when Russian authorities would urge Vladimir Putin to cease the fighting and pull troops out of Ukrainian land.
Bout, who is now a Russian lawmaker, supported the invasion, stating that Donbas is “Russian territory” and refuted claims that Russia initiated the conflict.
Host Alex Jones interrupted to support Russia’s actions, claiming that NATO’s expansion led to Russian military reactions. The caller then responded by stating that Russia illegally invaded in 2014 and has already lost the conflict.

Bout dismissed this evaluation, maintaining that Russia would never relinquish what he described as Russian land and population. Jones ended by condemning NATO’s expansion and advocating for better relations between the U.S. and Russia.
