Flights to repatriate passengers from the ship affected by a lethal hantavirus outbreak are already being arranged to the United States, Britain, France, and other nations, according to Spain’s interior minister, who made the announcement on Saturday.

For travelers from nations “outside the EU and lacking the air capacity to bring back their citizens,” the Spanish authorities were developing a strategy in collaboration with the Netherlands and the vessel’s owner and insurer, Fernando Grande-Marlaska stated at a press briefing.
