The APC Delta State National Assembly Primaries Appeal Committee has urged dissatisfied candidates and party members to officially file complaints related to the House of Representatives primary elections held in the state on Saturday.

The committee stated that the action was aimed at enhancing the party’s internal democratic procedures and guaranteeing fairness, openness, and reliability after the direct primaries selected candidates for the ten federal constituencies in Delta State.

On Sunday in Asaba, representing the five-member committee, Chairman Mr Chukwuemeka Ujam stated that the party’s leadership is dedicated to a transparent and reliable process without any external influence.

Ujam, accompanied by Committee members, stated that all petitions, appeals, and grievances concerning the primary elections would be given proper consideration following the party’s constitution, rules, and democratic values.

He stated that the appeals process offers a chance for unhappy candidates and interested parties to obtain relief via official party channels, while also aiding in maintaining cohesion within the APC before the 2027 national elections.

The committee encouraged party supporters to express their concerns through peaceful and legal methods, promising that all complaints would be handled with fairness and impartiality.
