Pakistan, May 22 — Additional information regarding Britney Spears’ DUI incident in March has come to light. As per the arrest report obtained by US Weekly on May 20, the pop icon was stopped near her Ventura County residence following reports of a driver “driving at excessive speeds and veering erratically.”

The report stated that officers observed Spears’ car swerve into another lane multiple times prior to her being stopped around 9pm on March 4. During the encounter, police claimed they detected the smell of alcohol from the vehicle, although Spears reportedly mentioned she had only had “one champagne mimosa” several hours before.

The controversial music producer is also said to have told police, “I could probably drink four bottles of wine and handle you, I’m an angel.”

As per the report, Spears, 44, revealed she had consumed Lamictal, Prozac, and Adderall that same day. Police also stated they discovered a bottle marked “Adderall” which was not prescribed to her, as well as an empty wine glass inside the car.

Police claimed that Spears initially refused to leave the vehicle, stating she had been “tricked and harassed before.” The report noted Spears’ “extreme mood changes” during the interaction, mentioning that she occasionally spoke with a British accent.

On April 30, Spears faced formal charges of driving under the influence. Nevertheless, this charge was eventually dropped after Spears agreed to a “wet reckless” plea bargain, as there were no accidents or injuries involved.

The musician has been given 12 months of probation along with a one-day jail term. Additionally, she is required to attend a compulsory DUI course and regularly meet with mental health specialists.
