Ivanka Trump, who was recently targeted in a suspected terrorist assassination attempt, has shared in a podcast interview the reasons behind her withdrawal from public life.
The President’s eldest daughter acted as a key advisor to her father during his initial term, but she now focuses on spending time with her family and pursuing personal business opportunities.
Now I’m in a different part of my life,’ she said to podcaster David Senra. ‘For me, the first time around, I could somewhat picture [public service] would be demanding.
But I now understand how intense it is,” she added. “I realize that you can’t just dabble, and I know my children truly need me there for them.
And I’m not prepared to have them endure the burden of serving once more.
During her father’s initial term, Ivanka backed laws aimed at fighting human trafficking and establishing paid parental leave, along with other initiatives.
Now she claims she is focused on driving transformation from the private sector.
In 2023, she co-founded a profit-driven company named Planet Harvest alongside her friend Melissa Ackerman.

Planet Harvest aims to ‘increase the quantity of fresh food that reaches families from farms’ by linking farmers with retailers, as stated on its website.
Lately, the First Daughter made headlines in a manner that highlighted the greatest price of serving in the public eye.
A suspected global terrorist was detained in Turkey following threats to harm Ivanka.
Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, a 32-year-old individual with dual Iraqi-Iranian citizenship, seemingly sought retribution for the 2020 death of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Qasem Soleimani.
In January 2020, President Trump authorized the attack that resulted in Soleimani’s death.
In 2021, Al-Saadi shared an image of a map showing Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner’s $24 million home, accompanied by a caption that included the phrase, “Our revenge is a matter of time,” as reported by the New York Post.
He is now being charged in connection with almost 20 suspected terrorist incidents in different nations.
He denied the charges in a court session on Monday. His subsequent hearing is set for September.

In contrast to his wife, Kushner is deeply engaged in public service.
He has worked for the Trump administration both formally and informally, such as serving as a special peace ambassador involved in discussions regarding conflicts in Iran and Ukraine, traveling to locations like Pakistan and Russia alongside fellow envoy Steve Witkoff.
Along Witkoff, Kushner helpedbrokered the Israel-Hamas truce last year and has made efforts to conclude his father-in-law’s ongoing conflict in Iran.
Certain critics have expressed concerns regarding the billionaire’s international engagements, as he maintains financial connections with multiple nations in the Middle East.
