Sen. Rick Scott(Rep.-FL) caused surprise online on Thursday by proposing that Americans should work seven days a week.
Scott made the remark during a Fox News interview regarding a new bipartisan tax regulation.
Americans work five days a week, but the minimum we should be working is seven days a week,” Scott stated. “I’m a businessman. Business people must work every day. We need to work daily to accomplish this work.

Lawyer and former soldier Don Dechertwroteon Bluesky, he was offended by the word “we.”
The non-royal we; the common people,” Dechert wrote. “You know, like us. The people who aren’t senators or who avoided Medicare fraud without facing any prison time.
Jesse Schoolnik, former Senate employee and nonprofit advocate,wroteon X that Scott’s own source of income caused an issue.
