Disturbing video recorded the instant a Canadian womanstruck a teenager following her alleged outburst over the girl’s ‘MAGA attire’, which resulted in her being detained by ICE.

Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, is reportedly visible in the video footageshared to social mediabeating up a girl on the Jersey Shore boardwalk in New Jersey on Independence Day festivities.

The vibrant-haired activist is said to have punched the teenager on the shoulder during the argument, then faced her and hit her across the face.

As Tracey was reportedly seen walking away, the teenage girl, whose age was removed from court records, remained in shock following the incident. Authorities stated she was not seriously harmed.

Tracey was not taken into custody at the location of the alleged slap, but she surrendered herself a few days later after investigators claim they examined surveillance video and issued an arrest warrant.

She was subsequently moved to Delaney Hall, New Jersey’s infamous immigration detention center, where her husband Matthew Geroni, 42,informed the Daily Mail that she has been suffering in ‘terrible’ conditions

Geroni also claimed that the police were not truthful about the incident that resulted in his wife’s arrest, and maintained that the teenager and her companions ‘provoked’ Tracey and ‘pushed and shoved her’ initially.

He mentioned that the group of teenagers were seeking to confront individuals on the boardwalk and were harassing people by wearing ‘MAGA clothing,’ which he referred to as items promoting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Geroni also alleged that the police misrepresented the situation regarding his wife’s departure from the scene, stating that she was permitted to leave prior to being informed about the arrest warrant issued for her.

While Tracey was detained at Delaney Hall, an ICE facility facing accusations of abuse and inhumane treatment of prisoners, the Canadian has found it difficult to deal with her arrest, Geroni said to the Daily Mail.

During their short exchange since her arrest, he mentioned that she is ‘extremely distressed.’

“She mentioned that when she was taken there, she was placed in a room where she had to sleep on a metal bench with all the lights on,” Geroni said, noting that his wife remained in the same room for a full 24 hours right after her arrival.

She mentioned that the conditions inside were terrible… She clearly felt very distressed.

Geroni mentioned that the majority of the other prisoners spoke Spanish, which made it more challenging for his wife to communicate effectively with them regarding her situation, although he noted that the other detainees were “very kind” toward her.

He argues that his wife was not the one who started the conflict that resulted in her arrest, and emphasized that she was the one attempting to flee from the group of teenagers and avoid them.

He mentioned that the officers on site allowed Tracey to depart and referred to the incident as a ‘non-issue,’ however, he noted that investigators later examined a brief security video of the confrontation, which resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for her, a move Geroni claimed was ‘taken out of context.’

She is currently being charged with endangering a child’s well-being, simple assault, harassment, and obstruction, and is scheduled to be deported to Canada.

Geroni, who frequently posts on social media criticizing Republicans, including expressing hopes that Mitch McConnell passes away and that the Trump family develops cancer, stated he thinks Donald Trump is somewhat responsible for the negative reactions.

“Trump is giving these individuals confidence. They take pride in their hatred, not in love,” he stated.

When questioned how he reconciles this position with his social media comments regarding McConnell, Geroni stated it was “not the same” and responded: “What are we even discussing here, bro?”

Geroni’s social media also features videos of his wife playing music in a punk rock band. It remains unknown what she does for a living.

When Tracey was taken into custody, Geroni turned to social media to promote a GoFundMe campaign aimed at assisting his wife in securing legal representation and her release, but the fundraiser was removed following reports.

He stated the fundraiser was taken down because it was reported by ‘MAGA individuals,’ but GoFundMe guidelines specify that campaigns cannot be funded for someone charged with criminal offenses.

Geroni mentioned that he and his partner are happy with their life in Ocean Beach, although he would relocate to Canada if necessary. “I would do anything to be with my wife,” he stated.

He mentioned that he has had difficulty reaching his wife and has only managed a short conversation with her since she was taken into custody. She informed him that she was one of the few Canadians at the facility.

Delaney Hall faces accusations that detainees are subjected to mistreatment and endure cruel conditions, with Geroni stating that his wife was kept in a holding room for a full day with the lights on continuously upon her arrival.

“She mentioned there were two other women inside who had been there for more than 24 hours when she entered,” he said.

She explained how terrible she felt for them,” he continued. “She was already uneasy, and they had been inside for at least twice as long.

After entering the real facility, she mentioned that everyone there was very kind to her, particularly the other individuals who were detained, he noted.
