Severe rain warnings across the nation were all canceled at 6 a.m. on July 19. In their place, alerts regarding a heatwave were issued nationwide. The monsoon rains, which had briefly stopped, are predicted to start again on July 20 and remain for the rest of the week.

As reported by the Korea Meteorological Administration on July 19, the heavy rain clouds that fell during the night shifted eastward, resulting in the cancellation of all heavy rain warnings at 6 a.m. Nonetheless, precipitation is still occurring in certain regions, such as North Gyeongsang Province. North Gyeongsang Province is expected to face intense rainfall of up to 50 mm per hour until late afternoon on the same day.

Heatwave warnings were activated at 11 a.m. on the same day in Asan and Geumsan of South Chungcheong Province, Okcheon and Yeongdong of North Chungcheong Province, Damyang, northern Gokseong, and northern Haenam of South Jeolla Province, Gochang, Gimje, Jeongeup, and Buan of North Jeolla Province, Gumi and Seongju of North Gyeongsang Province, Tongyeong of South Gyeongsang Province, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and southern Sejong.

From July 16 to 18, heatwave warnings were already active in northern Sancheong and central Hamyang in South Gyeongsang Province, as well as in Goryeong, Chilgok, Cheongsong, Yeongcheon, Gyeongsan, Cheongdo, and Pohang in North Gyeongsang Province, Daegu, and Goheung, Wando, and Yeosu in South Jeolla Province, mainly in southern areas. The regions impacted have now grown larger.

Tropical night warnings are also active in Yeosu and Goheung of South Jeolla Province, as well as Yangsan and Changwon in South Gyeongsang Province.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted rain throughout the nation on Monday, July 20, and Tuesday, July 21. According to the capital area, the anticipated precipitation is between 20–60 mm on July 20 and 30–80 mm on July 21. On Wednesday, July 22, the country is expected to have mostly cloudy skies with some rain, and rain is also anticipated nationwide on Thursday, July 23, and Friday, July 24. The organization noted that rain is expected in the capital region and western Gangwon Province on Saturday, July 25.
