A progressive commentator from Fox News, Jessica Tarlov, stated, “I’m out,” following co-host Greg Gutfeld’s remark that “ours are better than yours” regarding Black individuals who support the Republican party during Friday’s show.The Five.
Mediaite reportsthat the conflict escalated during a conversation about the origins of threats directed at President Donald Trump in comparison to those aimed at Democrats. Tarlov mentioned the situation involving Minnesota Democratic representative Melissa Hortman, who waskilledtogether with her husband in June last year.
“Trump didn’t say, ‘Go out there and confront them,’” Gutfeld noted.
But Tarlov responded that pipe bomber Cesar Sayocsaid in court, that he “was inspired by Donald Trump.” Sayoc pleadedpled guiltyIn 2019, he sent 16 bombs through the mail to politicians he viewed as opponents of Trump.
“Which pipe bomber? The Black guy?” asked Jesse Watters, referring to Brian Cole Jr., who waschargedplanting bombs outside the DNC and RNC headquarters the night prior to the January 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol. “Do you remember when we found out he was, like, some random Black guy?”
“Oh my God, ha ha ha, random Black guy!” Tarlov said, as reported by Mediaite. “You don’t have any Black people, so I get it, on your side. Is that what you’re trying to say?”
We have some,” insisted Watters. “We’re addressing it.
“Work harder,” Tarlov said.
“Ours surpass yours,” stated Gutfeld.
“Staying away from that,” Tarlov said.
“We actually secured more Black voters than we did previously,” Watters added, referring to the 2024 election in which Trump received 15 percent of the Black vote.
Tarlov replied, “You got, like, one percent more and you think it’s—”
I’ll take it!” shouted Watters. “You keep losing the whites! I’d rather have the whites, statistically.
“I’m out!” Tarlov admitted.
