The Trump administration recently utilized Cunningham’s remarks againsttransgender athletesparticipating in women’s sports to promote its own policy goals.

Cunningham’s official TikTok account shared a video from December created by @matrixunni, a content producer known for MAGA-related social and cultural commentary, as reported by MeidasTouch News. In the video, the creator states that individuals who enter the country unlawfully should not anticipate compassion if immigration authorities separate their families.

“Well, then, you shouldn’t have come here in the first place,” the creator stated, repeating the claim that undocumented immigrants refuse to “follow the rules,” according to MeidasTouch. The video also rejected discussions about racism and structural inequality, and targeted those who criticize the U.S. and support immigration.

In February, Cunningham posted a video that criticized Olympian Hunter Hess for separating himself from U.S. policies. The video begins with a clip of Hess stating, “Just because I’m wearing the flag doesn’t mean I stand for everything happening in the U.S.” This is then followed by a WWE clip featuring The Rock saying, “Shut up, b—,” along with a collection of U.S. hockey footage and lines from a movie.Miracle, according to MeidasTouch.
