Samsung Electronics CEO Lee Jae-yong, Hyundai Motor Group CEO Chung Eui-sun, and Naver founder and board chairman Lee Hae-jin met with NVIDIA’s chief Jensen Huang at the firm’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California.

NVIDIA revealed on the 25th that the gathering occurred at its Santa Clara, California, headquarters on July 24. The three chairmen took commemorative pictures with Huang in the lobby of the Endeavor Building, a building inspired by triangular designs, a core component of contemporary computer graphics.

NVIDIA mentioned, “Staff members were carrying out their regular tasks in the vicinity during the photo shoot.” The company did not reveal particular discussion points or information from the meeting.

Industry experts anticipate that Korean business executives may have talked about increasing collaboration within their respective fields. Samsung Electronics, which provides semiconductors like high-bandwidth memory (HBM) to NVIDIA, probably covered opportunities in memory and chip manufacturing. The Hyundai Motor Group is thought to have considered physical AI applications, such as robotics and self-driving technology, while Naver is said to have looked into partnerships for AI-based factory infrastructure projects.

Previously, Huang had lunch with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won in Woodside, California, on July 23, during which they talked about enhancing collaboration in AI infrastructure and physical AI.
