A fourth GladiatorsStar, Cyclone, has made statements following reports indicating she had been removed from the series.
This week, enthusiasts of the high-octaneBBCshow were heartbroken to discover that some of their beloved figures will not becompeting this year.
It was reported that two of the program’s actors, Bionic and Athena, will not be able to participate in the next season because of injuries, just months laterGiant was axed due to a disagreement regarding his girlfriend’s OnlyFans work.
It was later asserted that Cyclone, who became part of Gladiators in January 2025, had also been removed from the team.
The Irish powerlifting champion, whose actual name is Lystus Ebosele, was reported to have removed all evidence of the program from her private life.Instagramaccount, although her Cyclone profile remains active.
Nevertheless, she used her social media page on Thursday evening to comment on the ‘various stories being spread about me being removed from the show I had previously been involved in’.
Although she did not refer to “Gladiators” by name, Ebosele then said: ‘I have not been fired, I have left of my own free will.’
She added, “I am truly sorry to all the families who came to the filming expecting me to be present, only to discover my absence upon arriving at the arena without any explanation. It’s not fair to the show’s fans how everything has unfolded.”
The athlete then explained that she had “made the decision to step away from the show for a few reasons,” but she wasn’t sure “if or when” she would ever talk about them.
“Eventually, it was the right choice, and I have no regrets about it,” she wrote.
Ebosele stated that she would not be involved in the fourth series, nor any future series.
” BUT I will be very much involved in the Live Tour 2026 (extremely excited),” she assured.

She has completely severed her connection with the program – it’s a shame because fans really enjoyed her.
Ebosele mentioned in the second part of her statement that she ‘would never, ever feel sorry for the time I spent on the show,’ highlighting that she had formed ‘sisters and brothers for life [sic].’
I have managed to inspire a new generation of young girls to realize that they can be strong, beautiful, and unapologetically take control of any world they desire.
But there’s no scenario in which I can remain and be part of the show anymore,” she added. “Thank you to everyone who has tuned in and supported me up to this point, it means the world.
Fans of Gladiators responded to the initial reports of her departure onsocial media, showing their heartbreak about Ebosele’s leaving.
“I’m devastated if this is true, she was one of my favorite artists,” Stereotonic wrote onReddit.
“Embarrassment, she had good conversation and was at least decent in all the events, exceptionally good in one or two,” OkExcuse3011 remarked.
“This is a joke, she was the best,” TomatoLess229 remarked.
It was also mentioned that she has unfollowed Hungry Bear, the production company responsible for Gladiators, on Instagram.
Earlier in the week, a source shared with the outlet that although Bionic and Athena will be unavailable for this season, they may be back next year.
“They won’t be filming this year for the show, but may return for the tour, based on how they recover from their injuries,” they stated.
In March of this year, Athena, known as Karenjeet Kaur Bains, posted a TikTok video explaining her six-month rehabilitation process following ACL surgery.
“Six and a half months ago, the path to recovery following surgery was unclear. What started with crutches and the gradual process of relearning how to walk has evolved into active movement, including running and agility exercises with rapid changes in direction,” she wrote in her caption.
The journey has not been free of obstacles. There were tough days, disappointments, times of suffering, and stretches where advancement seemed extremely slow. To those currently going through their own healing process, understand that you are noticed and not isolated in this battle.
In the meantime, Giant, also known as Jamie Bigg, has recently spoken out aboutbeing replaced on Gladiatorsby Tom Stoltman, winner of the World’s Strongest Man.
“Tom is an amazing individual, and I’m certain he’ll do exceptionally well on the show. He has a golden heart and will be a fantastic addition to the lineup,” he said..
