Experienced political advisor James Carville forecasted that President Donald Trump could face new challenges in the coming months.
During a Q&A on Politics War Room, Carville responded to a query from a viewer who believed hispredictionThat Trump will step down after the November midterms, but concerned that Trump may run again in 2028 by misinterpreting the language of the 22nd Amendment to claim a total of 10 years in office.
First and foremost, among all the things you need to be concerned about, Trump running in 2028 isn’t one of them,” Carville replied. “I’m observing him in real time, and I believe this man is experiencing a rapid decline in both physical and emotional health, and it’s happening at an exponential rate, not a linear one.
However, Trump will face an additional challenge beyonddeterioration, Carville predicted. Following the November midterms, Trump’s decline will be worsened by his increasing irrelevance and isolation, something he has never experienced before, Carville stated. Carville has also forecasted a significant GOPdefeat in the midterms.

This will speed up because, after November, he will face something he hasn’t encountered during his political career,” Carville stated. “He will become irrelevant. He won’t just be irrelevant. People won’t want to be near him. They won’t care about what he has to say.
Since no one “is likely to actively want to listen” to Trump, he “will leave before April 15th,” Carville stated.
“I have become even more certain after witnessing this chaos involving Senator Lindsey Graham,” Carville remarked, alluding to Trump’s address at the senator’s funeral.
