Rep. Jim Jordan(R-OH) found himself in a difficult position during a CNN interview on Thursday when the anchorKasie Huntrequested him to address allegations of domestic abuse involving another GOP legislator from Jordan’s home state.
Hunt requested Jordan’s opinion on the Representative.Max Miller(R-OH) following reports that Miller, who is married to Sen.Bernie MorenoEmily Moreno, the daughter, was reportedly burned with hot water and had a gun placed to her head.
Jordan first answered Hunt’s question by stating, “This is a family issue.”
I am aware that Max is a decent individual,” Jordan stated. “I was out supporting him during his campaign. I wish him success in his re-election bid. He has performed well as a member of Congress, and we should all be praying for his family. These are challenging times for them.

But later, Hunt referred to his remarks regarding former Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner. She aired a Newsmax interview, displaying what Jordan had stated when accusations of sexual misconduct against Platner emerged.
“I’d like to play for you what you mentioned when questioned about Graham Platner, who was accused of misconduct,” Hunt stated.
CNN switched to the interview with Jordan — with Hunt encouraging the Republican to address the distinction between the two scenarios.
That has consistently been the situation with Democrats,” Jordan stated. “It’s solely about holding onto power. They are willing to adopt any extreme stance as long as it helps them win elections and gain influence, and quite frankly, to oppose anyone who stands against President Trump.
Hunt pushed back.
“Why doesn’t this apply in this case, to Republicans seeking to maintain control?” Hunt questioned.
Jordan attempted to avoid answering, stating he couldn’t recall the background of the question that was posed to him.
I believe I was focusing on who he was as a candidate, along with his extreme, antisemitic, anti-Israel, and pro-Nazi views,” Jordan stated. “I think, as shown by the fact that he had a Nazi tattoo on his chest.
