Up to 54 people and 20 companies could be charged over the Grenfell Tower fire after the Met Police submitted files to prosecutors.
Scotland Yard announced today it handed over the tranche of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Investigators are asking for prosecutors to consider charges including corporate manslaughter, gross negligence manslaughter, health and safety offences, fraud and fraud-related offences and misconduct in public office.
