Celltrion achieved its best-ever results in both sales and operating profit for the third quarter this year, with operating profit jumping 74% year-on-year, fueled by higher sales of high-margin new biopharmaceuticals.

On the 27th, Celltrion revealed that its consolidated revenue for the third quarter reached 1.5755 trillion KRW, with operating profit at 525.3 billion KRW. Compared to the same period last year, revenue rose by 53.1% and operating profit surged 74.3%. The operating profit margin also climbed 4 percentage points to 33.3%. The final figures showed an additional 75.5 billion KRW in revenue and 15.3 billion KRW in operating profit compared to the preliminary results announced on the 12th.

The improved performance was primarily driven by high-margin new biopharmaceuticals. Third-quarter sales from new product lines totaled 905.8 billion KRW, marking a 74% increase from the previous year. The share of new products in overall biopharmaceutical sales rose to 67%.

Sales of key flagship products also expanded. Cumulative sales of the autoimmune disease treatment ‘Remsima SC’ and the U.S.-marketed product ‘Zymfentra’ for the first three quarters of this year reached 710.4 billion KRW, approaching the 1 trillion KRW annual target. Meanwhile, cumulative sales of the allergy treatment ‘Omlyclo’ hit 320.5 billion KRW, surging 542.3% compared to the same period last year.

Celltrion aims to maintain its growth momentum in the fourth quarter, supported by the U.S. launch of ‘Omlyclo’ this month and expanded local supply agreements for the autoimmune disease drug ‘Avtozma’.

A company source said, “This milestone is highly significant as it reflects our capacity to sustain investments in future growth drivers while simultaneously achieving record-high sales and operating profit. We will continue expanding the market reach of new product lines—such as the U.S. launch of ‘Omlyclo’ and the increasing share of high-margin new products—to ensure sustained growth in the fourth quarter.”
