A gas explosion, believed to have taken place at a commercial structure in Geomdan-gu, Incheon, resulted in four people being injured.

As reported by the Incheon Fire Department on the 27th, the incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. on the ground floor of a commercial building located in Majeong-dong, Geomdan-gu, Incheon.

In the aftermath, three men in their 60s suffered first- to second-degree burns on their faces and hands, while a woman in her 60s sustained facial injuries. All four individuals were rushed to hospitals for treatment.

Officials suspect the accident happened during renovation work and intend to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the precise cause.
